Hi, I’m sami.
After ten years of working overseas and returning to Australia to work as a General Manager in a variety of people corporate roles, I found myself suddenly stunted and unable to excel any further. I felt a deep desperation to break the glass ceilings that I appeared to be beating my head against, tirelessly trying to succeed. This desperation kept leading to the field of redundancy over and over.
So there I was… suddenly in my early 40s and alone. No one to talk with or seek guidance, no compassion or care from others, and that’s when I decided that, to help oneself, we must inevitably help others.
And here we are… after achieving my Masters in Professional Psychology; The Counselher and Psych Sami & Co. were born. A simple desire to help others find an affordable and convenient space to be able to talk through their present state without a six-week wait and a personal loan.
Why should I talk to you, Psych Sami and Co.?
Sometimes the difficulties of life can just become too much to manage on our own, and we all need someone to talk to.
Psych Sami & Co, have spent much time working as therapists, counsellors and Psychologists on helplines around Australia and private practices. Psych Sami discovered there is a need for more immediate, uncomplicated and faster access to a therapist.
These therapy sessions are about YOU… for YOU… and can be booked via phone or video. I get it… sometimes we just don’t want to be seen, and that’s okay.
Privacy is of the utmost importance - it is between you and me, completely confidential.

We hire twice a year (Jan and July) please see our careers page for vacancies. There are no face-to-face roles, the business operates solely online and remotely.
All registered Psychs are hired on a 60/40 split as contractors.
All provisional Psychs are hired on an employee basis during internship.
