How much do sessions cost, and can I get a rebate?
Fees vary depending on the practitioner you see.
Our Registered Psychologists offer Medicare rebates if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
If you're seeing a provisional psychologist, reduced rates are available - but these sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Can I see you in person?
Yes if you live on or near the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, specifically Barwon Heads, you can!
When booking choose “In person sessions” to see full availability.
Do you work with the kind of issue I’m experiencing?
Yes. We support clients with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more. Each psychologist has their own areas of interest and training, so we’ll help match you with someone suited to your needs.
What therapy approaches do you use?
We use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and many more. That said, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Your psychologist will talk with you about what you’re hoping to work on, what feels comfortable for you, and what kind of support is likely to be most useful.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is mostly about getting a feel for what’s been going on and what you’d like help with.
Your psychologist may ask about what brought you to therapy, what life has been like recently, and any relevant background around your mental health, relationships, work, family, or past experiences.
You do not need to have everything perfectly explained before you come in. It is also a chance for you to ask questions and see how the session feels. How do I know if you’re the right psychologist for me?
The right fit matters.
You should feel comfortable enough to talk honestly, ask questions, and feel like your psychologist is actually listening to you. That does not always happen instantly, but you should get a sense of whether the space feels safe, respectful, and useful.
If you are not sure who to book with, you can get in touch and we can help point you towards someone who may suit what you are looking for. -

ASSESSMENTS
Screeners help Psychologists to develop a clinical picture of what is going on for you alongside of the clinical assessment (where we ask a lot of questions and get to know you). These help us to understand what has been happening and the impact this is having on your life and can also help to determine the best type of therapy or treatment to engage with
Diagnoses often can feel the same however there are a set group of guidelines that need to be applied to ensure your diagnoses has been validated through evidence-based assessments and clinical judgement. Diagnoses often help us in life to be able to gain access to medication, support systems and education to help you transition through life.
