How much do sessions cost, and can I get a rebate?
Fees vary depending on the practitioner you see.
Our Registered Psychologists offer Medicare rebates if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
If you're seeing a provisional psychologist, reduced rates are available—but these sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
-
Do you work with the kind of issue I’m experiencing?
Yes. We support clients with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more. Each practitioner has their own areas of interest and training, so we’ll help match you with someone suited to your needs.
What therapy approaches do you use?
We use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and many more. Your therapist will tailor the approach to suit your goals, preferences, and personality.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is a space to get to know each other. We’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and some background about your mental health and life experiences. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions and decide whether we’re the right fit for you.
How do I know if you’re the right psychologist for me?
Finding the right fit is so important. We aim to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. If you're not sure where to start, reach out—we can help guide you to a practitioner who aligns with your needs and values.

ASSESSMENTS
Screeners help Psychologists to develop a clinical picture of what is going on for you alongside of the clinical assessment (where we ask a lot of questions and get to know you). These help us to understand what has been happening and the impact this is having on your life and can also help to determine the best type of therapy or treatment to engage with
Diagnoses often can feel the same however there are a set group of guidelines that need to be applied to ensure your diagnoses has been validated through evidence-based assessments and clinical judgement. Diagnoses often help us in life to be able to gain access to medication, support systems and education to help you transition through life.
